Time, texture, and imperfections.  Scarred, wrinkled, and cracked hands with lingering residue of clay.  Combined, they speak of time, of wear and tear, of frailty.  These hands are reflected in the slow growing grooves of tree bark, the weathered cracks of concrete, and in each ceramic piece made with those same hands.  Clay also tells a story of layers and time.  Raw elements combine, with hands touching and working, to make something new with a voice that tells their origins.
